I was hunting for willow grouse  in Inari, Lapland,  lots of walking, no catch. Luckily shooting with a camera goes better. Here is an autumn picture from the shore in front of our hunting cottage.

Almost 100 hundred of these beautiful birds were gathered to  a lake in Central-Eastern Finland.  They were waiting for a right slot to start their group migration towards south. Whooping swan is the national bird of our country.

The same pier as some weeks ago, close to our cottage in Inari, Lapland. A little different approach, 2.5 seconds exposure time smoothing the water surface (using one ND 8 filter plus CP-filter and ISO 50).  Autumn colors can  be seen in the background.

 Oulanka National Park has impressive rapids.  The flow is ascending through a shallow  canyon.  This time  I raised my camera up to the sky and found this landscape. Orange rocks, blue skies and beautiful pine trees reaching he sky!
