Aurora Borealis

We should have a good year for aurora borealis (northern lights). This is my best so far behind our cottage in Inari, Lapland, Finland.

Oh I wish we could enjoy this natural ‘spectacular’…magic in the air. I look forward to seeing more as you capture them.. Great.
I should mention that I have caught a fleeting glimpse once when I was in the very north of Scotland, it was a glimpse but enough to wet the appetite. I have a friend who leads trips to photograph the Northern Lights and I mean to try and book one (trouble is life seems to get in the way)

Perhaps next night. Days have been clear but nights overcast. Later this spring Nordic Lights could be seen again in Scotland, maybe.
