Lumia pic

Lake Inari this morning. I packed all my “real cameras” deep into the boot of my car and had available my Nokia Lumia 920 only. Now I start doubting if there is much sense in investing thousands euros in real cameras? Inari, Lapland, Finland.
It is what you do with the camera that matters….most ‘so called compacts’ have good optics and large mega pics. They are also light and can fit in a pocket. Many of my blog images are taken on a pocket size Nikon Coolpix 7100 when out walking the dogs or when I am too lazy to carry the BIG gear! It has its limitations but the more I use it the more I find that those limitations are a lot less then I thought they were.
Lapland and autumn approaches….nice shot. And is that an Owl box I spot on the tree?

Thanks David. I very much agree with what you say. I usually carry at least 5D if possible. I admit that 1DX is in most cases an overkill, it is so heavy. The box is for golden eye.
