I love pine grosbeaks! Here in the Upper Peninsula I see or hear them occasionally and when I venture into southern Ontario I almost always hear them or see them in the winter! Truly splendid birds! Also, wonderful capture there! The level of detail in the feathers is splendid! Looking forward to seeing more of your posts!

There is a place “Neljän Tuulen Tupa” (Cottage of four winds) where they feed birds in Inari, Lapland. Pine grosbeaks are perhaps hundreds and they are not shy at all, they almost sit on the lens. Many photographers from everywhere come to this place to shoot these beautiful northern birds.
